QRP

QRP or low power transceivers have always had a large share of followers. QRP rigs can be easily build and even designed by the average amateur radio operator.

QRP rigs typically put out no more than 5 to 10 watts.

The small RF-output allows for small rigs. The homebrew rig are often very simple, single-band, single-modulation designs.
