The CR-88A is the component receiver of the RCA DR-89 and the U.S. Navy model RDM - both Triple Diversity Receivers. The CR-88 versions were the post-WWII up-graded version of the AR-88 series and feature a front panel adjustable Crystal Filter Phasing control. The CR-88A version has the Diversity IF Gain control and other minor resistor changes to enhance diversity operation.
